Field Notes

Description:

The Sun Gold ripens to a golden orange, with a very sweet almost tropical flavor. This tomato is popular in all climates as it produces in warm and cold conditions.Matures quickly and produces well.

Habitat:

Potted tomatoes on my back deck. We are in the western foothills of the Sierra Nevadas right at the snow line - about 3200 ft.

Notes:

Yet another of my tomatoes that were effected by the late cold snap. It's doing really well - tons of babies and blooms. First fruited about one week ago.
