Field Notes
Description:
Yellow with black markings, about eight inches from beak to tail and the wingspan is about nine inches. There are bigger ones about the size of a small dove. Mating call is sometimes different from everyday whistle-like bird call.
Habitat:
Forested groves and fruit orchards
Notes:
It likes berries and small fruits. They flock together but they are also often seen flying alone. You can see single orioles more often on electric cables and tree tops.
