Description:
These robin babies were in their nest in a pine tree at my friend's house. The mother was flying back and forth between a fence close by and the nest feeding them worms. The chicks looked really young
Habitat:
The American Robin breeds throughout most of North America in woodland and more open farmland and urban areas. It breeds only rarely in the southern United States and prefers large shade trees on lawns. While Robins occasionally winter in the northern part of the United States and southern Canada, most migrate to winter south of Canada from Florida and the Gulf Coast to central Mexico, as well as along the Pacific Coast. Its winter habitat is similar but includes more open areas.
Notes:
This was as close up and clear of a picture I could get because I didn't wan't to disturb the young chicks.
