Weevil

A neat little bicolored Weevil, 4 mm in length, in black and reddish brown. The last 1/4 of the abdomen is elongated, pointed and colored beige. It is covered in tiny hairs and scales. When frightened, it curls up into a ball and tucks the proboscis tight into a groove between the 1st and 2nd pair of coxae. Even the eyes disappear out of sight (see last picture).
