Field Notes

Habitat:

Potted on my back deck. In the western foothills of the Sierra Nevadas at about 3200 ft.

Notes:

These are the first real promising blooms I've gotten - there were a couple of earlier blooms that didn't get quit this big before the dried up and turned brown. After a spot of nice spring weather we had a three week long cold snap and I think that was the cause. Hopefully these will bloom and give me some peppers. Update 7/25/11 - Several peppers are now about the size of a golf ball.
