Description:

This is a bright orange lichen growing on a headstone in the Cottage Grove Cemetery.

Habitat:

The grassy area of the cemetery is in the middle of a mixed coniferous and deciduous forest.

Notes:

The little saucer-shaped bodies in the center are very evident here.
