I have searched all over and can't find this plant. It looks like a succulent, but they are related to cactus which does NOT like wet feet. Yet this spotting is in the pond area.
I'm looking Anna. I just noticed you are in New Zealand...so I had to start the search over. This is a beautiful picture series. So far... http://www.seafriends.org.nz/enviro/habitat/rsred.htm#red Was it salt water, freshwater, or a mixture of the two (brackish)?
No!, this plant was on the water. I post another picture so you will be able to see how it looked
Was this underwater? What type of environment did you find it? It's pretty. At first I thought it was a succulent of some sort. But it might be a coral of some kind?
