Notes:

I'm not sure which species of Morchella this is. Many of the morels I find are extremely pale until they get older, but this one is fairly young but already brownish. I think it's Morchella elata, but I don't know how common they are in western Massachusetts.

Thanks. For some reason I find mushrooms particularly hard to photograph, so I'm always happy when a shot comes out like this.
