Field Notes

Description:

Here spotted at the Colchester zoo.

Around 81 cm in length including the long tail feathers. The body is red. The wings and tail has blue, yellow and green colouration.

Habitat:

Central and south american forests. I've actually seen them flying over urban areas in Rio de Janeiro.
