Description:

Trametes versicolor – also known as Coriolus versicolor and Polyporus versicolor – is a common polypore mushroom found throughout the world. Meaning 'of several colours', versicolor reliably describes this fungus that displays different colors. Wikipedia

Habitat:

Lake shore swamp , bayou area , brackish water tributaries of lake maurepas, Louisiana

Notes:

Large clusters found on fallen hardwood tree. Area of the low highway 51 in laplace, Louisiana. Foggy warm lousiana winter (lol) morning, 68f . Also on same log was several decaying pleurotus ostreatus.
