Field Notes
Description:
Small passerine bird from a family Paridae, Easily recognized by its azure-blue, yellow and white colors. It appears tiny, and is smaller than sparrow, with some 10 cm in length. The Eurasian blue tit was previously classified in genus Parus, and can still be found in literature as Parus caeruleus
Habitat:
Blue tits are non-migratory birds and are resident breeders in deciduous woodlands, throughout Europe. Here seen from my balcony, in a residential area in Geneva suburbs, rural and neighboring managed pastures and very close to an oak forest.
Notes:
Series "from my window" - in environments of our apartment, these are definitely the most common and most numerous visitors
