Description:
Calylophus drummondianus var. berlandieri is a Texas Native that resembles a Primrose or Oenothera spp. that is yellow with a bushy and upright growth habit and needle-like foliage. From Spring and throughout the Summer intense yellow buttercup-shaped flowers will open in the evening and remain open until the next afternoon.
Habitat:
Hardiness Zones: USDA Zone 6 (-10 °F) to USDA Zone 9 (20 °F)
Height: Grows 6” tall. Space 36” apart.
Exposure: Plant in Full Sun to Partial Sun.
Bloom Time: Blooms Spring to Summer.
Water Requirements: Water once per week until established.
Does best in a well drained soil.
