Hi Bruce, I´m entomologist and I will be glad to help you identifying your insects, but honestly this kind of pictures are unrecognizable. I don´t see the point on posting this kind of pictures.
it looks like Damselfly.
photo is grainy but it is probably damselfly, "wings are held along, and parallel to, the body when at rest" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damselfly
