Field Notes

Description:

I call it my Pipevine butterfly because it lays it's eggs on my Pipevine. I very sledom get a picture when it is still enough to take. But at times I can look up in my garden and see 5 of them all at once. It is taking nectar from my Clerodendrun flower framed by the Candlebush.

Habitat:

Gardens and yards with flowers.

I love this picture Alice, as you can see movement in the top part of the wings only. Your butterfly garden seems wonderful!
