Field Notes

Description:

We had almost an entire day of rain and it made the frogs very happy. At dusk, the treefrogs were singing loudly and moving towards the lake down the hill from the campsites. Medium sized frog. Mottled gray coloration with a lumpy appearance. Underside is light with bright yellow on the back legs (see image #2).

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Cedar Point County Park, NY.
