Field Notes

Description:

Patterns on its back are remarkable, especially that black shield-shaped patch. Wing length: 22 mm.

Habitat:

Mixed forests of pine, cherry and bamboo. Cool to warm place. Altitude: 1,700 m.

Notes:

This moth had visited our terrace light. Not able to give it a place; possibly a Nolid, in view of the size, style of the antennae, thorax, etc.
