Description:

Small bird with variations of brown color. These babys, only a few days old, are nested in the middle of a fern plant hanging on the front porch. Its fun watching the parents bring in various bugs for them to eat.

Spotted in a potted fern hanging up on a porch.

Oh I took for granted it was a sparrow. Do you have an alternate suggestion? I very well may be wrong.

I don't believe it is a house Sparrow with streaks on it's chest.
