Description:

This is a close-up of the spines of the Shortspine Thornyhead. The spines are poisenous and very painful. This fish is found in very deep water (2500 feet). It's an important commercial fishery with most of the harvest exported to Japan. Sorry I didn't have a photo of the entire fish
