Description:

Black coated, orange legged type of Scorpion wasp (?), about 2 cm long

Lars, the colour would fit both species. However, it appears that Dolichomitus imperator has a somewhat longer and more slender abdomen. I don't know about the sting, most pictures show D. imperator with a very long one, though this might vary between males and females.
Thanks Meik....it could also possibly the Dolichomitus imperator. What do you think?
This looks like Pimpla instigator (schwarze Schlupfwespe).
