Field Notes

Description:

Male in summer has a black head, white collar, white outer tail features. The back and wings are streaked black and brown.
Female has brown dark moustachial stripes at all times.

Habitat:

Live in wetland and is widely spread in Ireland.
Breed in bogland and reedbed areas.
