thanks Sukanya. I looked that up, and it does look similar, but I can't find mention of it being found in E. Africa. These Skippers are so hard to ID. So many of them, and a different spot here or there, makes all the difference! But then, I'm not much good with comparing images...

I saw something similar in Kolkata, India a couple of days back...Fair warning: I may be completely off the mark.
