Spotted Sandpiper

These birds started doing their alarm calls and trying to attract my attention elsewhere, so I realized they must have a nest close by and went to a different part of the beach. Sure was tempting to try to find the eggs or babies, but not good for the birds!! When I see some of the closeups of birdnests on Project Noah, I sure hope people have powerful telephoto lenses!
