Description:

These 2 butterflies seemed to be courting. But the markings on this one are different. Could it be the female Monk, Amauris tartarea?

Habitat:

Seen either mud-puddling on damp patches on a dirt road running through the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, or on low bushes beside the road.
