Description:

Locally common in parts of Ireland. Plants in Ireland often have more intense colours. The flowers are deep pink with a 3-lobed lip and a long spur. Dense, conical or domed flower heads. Seen between June and August.

Habitat:

Orchid of scrub, grassland, dry banks and sand dunes.
