Description:

There was a bunch of bracket fungi that ranged in color from orange to brown growing on these birch logs. Several of them had amorphic shapes. This one was hoof-shaped, but the pores had been overcome by a spreading fungus.

Habitat:

Habitat: Rotting yellow birch logs in a mixed forest.
