Argiope versicolor is present only in Borneo, Java and Sumatra. The spider in this spotting is Argiope luzona which is present in the Philippines. There are six Argiope spp. present in Philippines: A. aemula, A. appensa, A. catenulata, A. intricata, A. luzona and A. manila.
