Field Notes

Description:

Exhausted Alpine Ibex on mountain top.

Habitat:

Mountain top

Notes:

I was impressed to see this one falling asleep, head first in the cliffs.
Maybe due to the weight of its horns, it's stretching his back at the same time...
If you know the answer, go ahead!

I wrote an article about wildlife in Switzerland if you want to see more pictures and more animals. http://www.ansermoz-photography.com/what/wildlife-in-switzerland-some-a… . I hope to be able to take photos of animals that are more rare to see, like a lynx for example. Follow me on Facebook :) https://www.facebook.com/ansermozphotography

Hi all, Marta, Gilma, I posted on my fb page the photos of the slope I was mentioning https://www.facebook.com/ansermozphotography , it will give you an idea :) Have a good start for your week all! Take care
In these cases I usually end up butt-climbing downhill! :-)
Hehe, yes indeed. I think I will update some photos on my Facebook page to show this inclined area! I'm not a rock climber :) but I guess I go to get my photos :) Yes the way down would have been much more easier for sure!
I would like to be one of them at the time of going down the slope..haha! :-D
Thank you Marta and Gilma! In need it was high, almost 2400m. I guess he was less scared than me about the slope behind us! I'm glad you like the serie of pictures.
