I just checked out your pic AshleyAkers and it does look similar. I was looking on BigGuide.com and the Hairstreaks look both like yours as well in form. I'm just trying to help:) BugGuide.com is helpful for many insects.

I have a picture that's similar to yours as well, though not as close and I think mine may have a had a little more black spots. Nice pic!

I have the same butterfly in my Noah with some color differences. Same alternating color on the antennae. Check it out. It is a "Hairstreak."

Great! Isn't it fun to ID a new insect or spotting. I know I have learned a lot I had forgotten and much I didn't know:)

I take that back it is a Hairstreak Butterfly-Hypaurotis crysalus. Forgive me for misleading you. Do search for Hairstreak Butterfly and you can check it out for yourself :)

It is a Skipper. Just to find the genus and species. It looks similar to The Splendid Ochre- Trapezites symmomus on Ozanimals.org The coloration is different, though. Yours, is white.
