Field Notes

Description:

2.7cm forewing length, dark brown with white markings.

Habitat:

Spotted during a day walk in Bandung, Indonesia, rainforest area.
Is also found from Sri Lanka to India, S. China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra, Borneo, Palawan, Java and the Lesser Sunda Islands.
Common in lowlands.

Notes:

This species has been observed to make sounds whose function has not been established.
