Thank you SO much, Luc! Very much appreciated :) I wish I could help you with regard to lenses, but all my photos are actually taken with an inexpensive little point-and-shoot digital camera. It's a Canon PowerShot A470: http://usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_a_series/powershot_a470 . The “super macro” setting seems to work fairly well, all things considered.
But I also love the little insect, and I was wondering if you would have a suggestion lens that I can get. And approximately how far you suggest for example a dragonfly? You're the best I know in macro that's why I ask you for :)) Your owl butterfly is very beautiful :)
I think the yellow Eyespot is to ward off predators? Your macro shots are always beautiful, and yesterday I try a few with a 70-300 sigma and I can 't have results like these.
