Spotted in my flower bed next to my porch.

Adorable picture! You can tell it's an American Toad because it only has 1 wart per black spot. If it had 2 warts per black spot it would be a Fowler's Toad, which are mostly found in the dunes on the west side of the state (this rule, like most in biology, sometimes doesn't apply). American Toads are the most common amphibian I see around Michigan.
