Field Notes

Description:

Immature katydid of some sort, I presume. Seemed fairly large, but wings were not yet fully developed. Antennae at least as long as its body. Red eyes.

Habitat:

A weed in my garden.

Notes:

Held very still with antennae stretched out alongside its front legs.
