Description:
A rose bedeguar gall developped on a dog rose (Rosa canina) shrubs, caused by a rose gall wasp (Diplolepis rosae).
These are the winter homes of the rose gall wasp (Diplolepis rosae), sometimes known as robin’s pincushions. If you were to cut one open, you’d find several chambers inside, each holding the larval stage of the wasp. (The Examiner)

Found on a Rosa Canina on a vacant land (village)
Notes:
If you look closely, you'll see that that, at least one European earwig (Forficula auricularia) is also living in it.
