Description:

Medium-sized sparrow with short, notched tail; upperparts are brown with black streaks; underparts are white with thin brown or black streaks on the breast and flanks. Small yellow patch on the face in front of the eye.

Habitat:

Breed in open areas with low vegetation.
Spotted in canadian arctic tundra.
