These flowers are commonly used in food, temple prayers to idols, many small mammals, birds and insects eat these flowers which are available in all seasons.
Not too many flowers left on this one. The black berries are mature fruit. We use a lot of these in our landscape designs at work. Some varieties need to be deadheaded weekly in order to keep flowering. This is an invasive species that has colonized much of the tropical world.
