Description:

This butterfly was badly damaged as the picture shows.
I was really worried that it would get stomped on or run over .
I asked the ranger for help. She gently propped it up with her rolled fist.
It was really amazing to see it fly off with such damaged wings. its flight was quite steady.
I have a feeling that this was its last flight though. It needed help in take off.
Yosemite was at its finest, what with all those melting glaciers!
