Field Notes

Description:

Totally unimpressive mottled grey till the wings open fully when the gorgeous yellow can be seen.

Habitat:

Flew in from the dark garden into the brightly lit kitchen. We took a few shots, trapped and released it into the garden. Urban residential area.
