Field Notes

Description:

Female: Dusty white bottom that as it goes to the back goes up to brown. The in-between is spotted brown and white. Pale beak and feet. Above their eye is a strip of white that goes around the head.

Habitat:

Woods with mostly oak and birch.

Notes:

Only saw them once while I saw the male multiple times. They came down to the feeder once but only briefly before retreating back to the woods.
