Field Notes

Description:

A flock of sparrow-sized birds that appear blue on the back with white undersides. When spooked these fast little birds took off almost as one.

Habitat:

Freshwater wetland flying between two dead tree stumps.

Notes:

No way to positively ID these birds from my shots, but I do believe them to be Violet-green Swallows unless someone else has another suggestion.

Unfortunately, this is the best I could get, but I think you are probably right - - I will update the spotting and see if anyone else has suggestions.
