Saw it in my Backyard at Flinders Island - Tasmania.

Hi Jorge.. they have learned to get the nuts from pinus radiata cones here and of course they are famous for tearing open small branches to get fat grubs (Cossidae) out. (widjuti grubs). Good to see you back after a year or so... :-)
Hello Mark, No I always see them in couples and in my garden they love to chew the Gum tree, I guess its just sharpening...
Fantastic birds. I love the calls they make. Did you notice if they were feeding on anything?
