Field Notes

Description:

Fruiting bodies had 3 cm wide caps that were broadly convex, pale with dark centres. Caps were slightly moist. Gills were a bright white and stopped short of the cap margins. Slightly translucent stipes had dark brown bases.

Habitat:

Spotted on a decaying log in a damp eucalypt forest gully - (Dandenong Ranges National Park)

Notes:

Looked like Enoki in some aspects...will need assistance with an ID. Thanks.
