Field Notes

Description:

A small steel gray colubrid with a yellow ring at the base of the head.

Habitat:

This snake was found in the Oklahoma City Zoo, but not in an exhibit. It was on a ledge outside the hyena exhibit, obviously just enjoying the exhibits like I was. It was a new snake for me so it was special.
