Description:

I'm sure I've seen this grass-like flower before on ProjectNoah with an ID but I cannot find it back. Who helps out?

Habitat:

On the border of a garden in Puerto Rico.
It is native to southeastern North America, from Virginia west to New Mexico in the United States, and south into the Caribbean islands.

@florida33girl Thank you! I spend hours going over ProjectNoah, but I could not find another spotting (although I'm sure I've seen it before).
Some similar Genus find Androcymbium Iphigenia
Also check Eryngium sp.
I find some Spermacoce species in worldwide tropical countries. What is in Rubiaceae family herbs and shrubs.
@Ashish After checking some images of the Spermacoce pusilla I don't think it's what I spotted. I'll keep on researching. Thanks!
We find similar Spermacoce pusilla in India.
