Field Notes

Description:

Light green caterpillar, 2 - 3 inches long, with white diagonal strips with black dots along the stripes and at the end of the stripes. Then hook/spike at one end, which is red / pink.

Habitat:

I found him on one of my tomato plants on central North Carolina, USA. I relocated him to a shrub that I didn't mind him eating.
