Description:

The Sea Grape is highly tolerant of salt and is wind resistant. On the American, it helps stabilize the beach. It grows to a small tree and helps form the beach hammock.

Habitat:

The sea grape can be found on coastal beaches throughout tropical America and the Caribbean.

Notes:

Can be cut as a shrub or grown as a tree. The pictured specimen was grown as a tree.

Thanks, this one happens to be in view of some cut as shrubs. They had recently been trimmed back and looked quite sad in comparison.
