Description:

*5' Thicket-forming, branching, thorny, flowers 2", rose-pink, fragrant, with 5 petals and many yellow stamens. Leaves compound, with 5-7 saw toothed, ovate leaflets, cruit 1/2" , egg shaped, shiny red rose hips
Blooms Apr.-Aug.

Habitat:

moist sites, streamsides, riversides
