Field Notes

Description:

This anole was spotted on a plant next to a home. The trees nearby are small. The closest is a small palm. There is a much better location nearby in a date palm. It is already taken by another anole. I guess this just shows their territorial nature.

Habitat:

Southeastern US and the Caribbean.

Notes:

FL native.

Thanks, this one seemed quite happy where he was. All the others that I have (or have tried to) photograph tried their hardest to get out of the way.
