Slender medium-sized. Body length from snout to anus (SVL, snout-to-vent length) of about 50 mm in male frogs, and up to 80 mm in the females.

Spread in India, Burma, southern China, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Malay Peninsula, Nicobar Islands, Mentawai, Sumatra, Borneo, Philippines, Sulawesi, Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores, Sumba, and Timor.
Notes:
Active mainly at night, this frog is often heard rumbling loudly since before sunset. They prey on various insects.
