Description:

Purple flower petals and long, green leaves. Long, thin stems. 6-12 inches in height. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or bird and flowers are fragrant. The bloom time is in the mid summer.

Habitat:

Stokes' aster is native to the southeastern coastal plain from South Carolina to northern Florida to Louisiana where it grows in wetlands. found in Eastern United States.
