I always seem to miss juveniles. Pleased to have an identification now. At least birds aren't as bad as fish which can go through many complete changes of looks and even sometimes sex ..

Not 100% sure here... but if I suppose that the size of the bird is somewhere in the range of sparrow, I would think of juvenile Linnet (Carduelis cannabina). Once again, when increasing a light in shadows a bit, there is some buff tinge on chest, while the belly becomes very light in colour, almost off-white. Legs look dark pink, and there is rusty coloured supercilium... In that link to a blog, above, there is a pic of young female linnet, quite similar...
